The Client: Hamilton Real Estate Agents, Brain martinson and Biliana Dib
Brain and Biliana are a real estate partnership based in Hamilton, Ontario. They have been working together for 5 years and it wasn’t quite showing that they were together on their online and social media presence. We started working on their social media and marketing strategy in December 2022 and 90 days later the results are amazing.
The Social Media Dilemma: Inconsistency doesn’t bare results
Brain and Biliana were trying to solve the inconsistent messaging across their multiple social platforms.
This was a problem for them because not having a branded social media presence was causing confusion for their potential buyers and sellers.
The goals of this 90-day campaign was to create a social media presence that felt real and authentic to Brian and Biliana while still having growth at the forefront.
The NSM Solution: Brand first, strategy second, consistent execution third
- Step one was establishing them as a partnership across all social media platforms and that meant a brand new Instagram account separate from their individual ones. We created @ hamiltonrealtors on Instagram, changed the Facebook page name and recommended a new website domain name.
- Step Two was starting the strategy and content creation process of the social media management process. Our main goal with the content creation process was to showcase the REAL Brain and Biliana and not create predictable real estate content. This was a big focus for our clients Brian and Biliana - not appearing fake in their content just because it’s social media.
- Step Three was to get the account going with 12 posts every month that have nothing to do with their current listings - those would be posted by Brain and Biliana themselves when they come up with templates that we created for them as well as the branding, guidelines and logos.
- Step Four was to analyze the first month of data and pivot as needed as we continue the monthly management and content creation process.
Conclusion
After completing the first 90-day package, Brain and Biliana have continued to work with us on an on-going monthly basis for social media management and add-on content creation. This service continues to help the client make sure they are being consistent on social media and so they can focus on other parts of their business.
The campaign was a success and we pivot monthly now based on metrics, industry trends and change within the real estate industry.

- Step one - establish a brand refresh for social media almost like a facelift to ensure key messaging and value were coming across visually
- Step Two - strategize a plan for new graphics made and video content to be created
- Our main goal was to increase the following by posting on a 3-4 times a week schedule
- Step Three - map out all post in a relevant content calendar with key dates for the business
- Step Four - execute the plan of posts with a balance of both graphics and video with key content pillars like education, entertainment and promotion being targeted

We hit the goal of 600 followers by the end of the 3 month period and maintained a steady above engagement rate of 3.7%

The Client: Millworks Creative
Millworks Creative is located in Dundas, ON, steps away from the historic downtown core and neighbouring Hamilton, ON. Our creative district is a unique space, with 23,000 square feet of white washed brick, exposed wood beams, old factory windows, custom murals and more. At Millworks Creative it is important for them to not only create an amazing space but an atmosphere for creatives to express themselves through their work. They have built a community for filmmakers, photographers, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs and innovators. With 8 studio spaces, creative workspace, and props for rent, the creative opportunities are endless.
The Social Media Dilemma: No time to post
- What were they trying to solve? - No time to post and did not want to have to worry about feed and reel posting on their business account
- Why was this a problem for them? - With no consistent posting happening the audience wasn’t fully informed of all the services they have to offer and aware of updates at the studios when it comes down to booking
- What were the goals of the campaign? To grow the following, increase bookings and sales along with a larger brand awareness of all services offered at Millworks Creative.
