Before diving into social media promotion it is important to distinguish that there are two ways you can utilize Instagram and Facebook: Organic and Paid.
Organic: Posting to your feed for no cost – will most likely reach your followers and potentially people who don’t follow you if you have a hashtag strategy and your followers engage with the content (share, comment etc) and it reaches more people who don’t follow you already.
Paid: Posting an ad through Instagram and/or Facebook that costs a fee per day or a flat fee. This is something to consider if you have a budget for it and your organic posts are reaching enough potential buyers. This should be a last resort as there are lots of different ways to reach organically, aka for free!
